Our Village

Ideally, our communities will consist of 20-30 homes, single level or multi-level with elevators.  Homes will be one or two bedrooms with full kitchens and laundry hookups  The heartbeat of the community is the Common House, where residents enjoy shared meals, entertainment, activities, workshops and gatherings.

The privately owned homes provide peace of mind concerning caregivers, rent increases and roommates.  Seniors will enjoy actively aging in place in a vibrant, fun neighborhood designed around their own unique needs.  All residents will benefit from co-care, where neighbors look out for neighbors, giving each other rides to doctors’ offices, checking in on each other, and just being good neighbors.

Pictured here is a micro cottage community in Lakeland, Fl.  Developed by Lakeland Housing Association with architecture by The Lunz Group, the community combines the privacy and open space of suburban neighborhoods with the easy upkeep and amenities of multifamily housing.
